I have Sunburn on my Nose

The weather has been beautiful for so many days I can't remember when we had rain last.  I thought the rain was coming tonight so I was going to rake leaves, but the weather has dampened my plans for today, so I thought I would write.

I have sunburn on my nose; I noticed it this morning.  That is from sitting out every afternoon around 2:00 PM to.  A luxury I enjoy now, I could only read after dinner and now with the November weather being so warm and the afternoon sun hits our porch it became a daily ritual.  I read 5 books since I retired; and get an hour or two of Vitamin D in the form of sunshine.  Side effects are a farmer's tan and freckles on my nose.  But I don't care.

I even baked cookies this week, which are already gone except for 2 for me here at home.

This Sunday I do the service so today I am going to finish it up.  Sermon is already done thanks to AI helping me write a sermon as Mother Nature.  It should be different and I hope the message comes through.

Retirement is only rough when it comes to paying the bills.  Social Security sucks - it is only half of what I was making, but unfortunately my bills still remain whole.  But so far, so good.

My desk at home is a mess I need to find a better system.  Anyway, I should get back to finishing my Sunday service.  Oh, and there is breakfast afterwards, so just in case you are reading this and have nothing to do Sunday at 10 Am you might visit Salem UCC at 615 Third Street, Catasauqua, PA .

So after that shameless plug, that's another day in Catasauqua.
