Well, it happened, I am retired - this is day 2. First thing I would like to tell you about retirement is that the days go faster. How comes 8 hours at work takes an eternity while 8 hours at home goes by in a flash.
Day 1 I did as I said I would - slept in, read and then went to Aldi's. Later I went to the Catasauqua Library for my Crochet Group.
Day 2 is busier - got up - took care of Mom, then she had a video doctor appointment at 12 noon, The doctor was 45 minutes late, but we finally got that over with. Then I made a charcutier board for tonight's Friendship Circle, went down to church and hung a welcome back banner. Now I am home writing to you. I have things to do for next few days. I really don't see me getting bored soon.I worked 50 years, 48 of them in Title Insurance so I think it was time to call it quits. My legs have been giving me more problems than usual - I thought they would get a little better. Darn
I want to finally do things that I had put off before . Go places, see things and do things that you just don't get to do when you work all the time.
Who knows what time will bring.
especially in Catasauqua.
And that's another day in Catasauqua
